Seth Easter - GMA

In October 2023, we learned that Good Morning America, the country’s most-watched news and culture show, would relocate to its new Disney facility in Tribeca. Our task was to participate in the construction of a new set created by set designer, Seth Easter. The project would combine hard scenery, virtual set extensions and massive multipurpose LED units that tracks across the studio allowing the space to be reconfigured in a myriad of ways. Housed inside Disney's state-of-the-art Hudson Square complex, the GMA set not only has an iconic news desk, but is composed of massive, LED screens that can create backdrops for the news, weather, and lifestyle programming. In fact, the set is so well-stocked with LED video panels that there are a total of 65 distinct segments with over 187 million pixels, including header elements and a shiny floor created entirely from LED panels.
